A Thought for Today —
Overwhelmed by the Good Kind

Some days the blessings come so fast you have to stop and write them down before they feel real.

✍️ Tia Grencz 📅 March 2026 ☕ 4 min read

Not every post I write is going to be polished. Not every post is going to have a tidy arc or a lesson or a perfectly constructed thought. Some days I'm just going to sit down and tell you what's happening — the real version, in real time — because that's what this space is for.

Today is one of those days. And today, for once, I don't have anything dark to share.

I want to be honest about that too — because there were many, many dark days leading into a day like this one. They will come again. That's just the way of life. But right now, in this moment, I am so overwhelmed by gratitude that I need to put it somewhere. So here it is.

What has happened in just a few weeks.

61 Women in The Feral Table
7 Listings in the Women's Directory
20+ Women ready to be on the podcast

These may seem like small numbers to some people. They are not small to me. They are the beginning of everything I am hoping to build — and they grew organically, through real relationships, real conversations, and real women choosing to show up for something that didn't fully exist yet.

That is not nothing. That is everything.

61 women chose to pull up a chair before the table was even fully built. That is the whole point of this community in one sentence.

The women who made this week.

I have had the chance over the last couple of weeks to connect with so many of the women I find genuinely inspiring — and over 20 of them have said yes to joining me on the podcast. Production starts in the next two weeks. I am beyond excited and beyond grateful.

💪 Bianca & Oliver — Self Defense in Coleman

I had the opportunity to help connect two wonderful people — my friend Bianca Hernandez of the Healing Hideaway Foundation and my friend Oliver Smith — to collaborate on a free Women's Self Defense Workshop at Bianca's location in Coleman. Watching that come together was one of those moments where you realize the community you're building is already doing exactly what it was meant to do. We also have another Women's Self Defense Workshop in the works here in Harrison. More details coming soon.

🍼 The Community Baby Shower

Bianca also invited me to be part of the Community Baby Shower she is hosting at her location in Coleman — and I said yes without hesitation. Because this is exactly what the Feral Miss mission looks like in real life. Women building things together. Women showing up for other women. Every mama deserves to feel celebrated and this community is going to make sure she does.

📸 Harmony Farrow — Easter Photos & a New Studio

My beautiful friend Harmony Farrow has been busy setting up her photography studio and I am lucky enough to have secured a spot for family Easter pictures done by her. If you don't know Harmony yet — you will. She is one of the most talented and genuine people I know and she is part of the foundation of everything The Feral Gathering is becoming.

Training, new friends, and showing up.

I recently made a change and started training martial arts at a new studio — an all women's class — and last week I had the chance to meet five new women there and had a genuinely fantastic time training alongside them. Tonight three of my dear friends are coming to check it out with me.

There is something about showing up to a room full of women who are all there to get stronger that does something to your spirit. I can't fully explain it. I just know it matters.

🔥

A note on the rough moments.

There have been a few rough moments in between all of this. That's just the way of life isn't it? I'm not going to pretend it has all been easy or that gratitude means the hard things didn't happen. They did. They always do. But today I am choosing to name the good things loudly because they deserve to be named.

Lord knows there were many dark days leading into days like today. And they will come again. That is the reality of being a real human person doing real things in the real world.

But right now — in this moment — I am sitting with gratitude so full it needed somewhere to go.

So I put it here.

For you. For me. For the record.

I am feeling so overwhelmed by life's blessings that I don't have anything negative to share today. And I think that deserves to be written down.

Pull up a chair. The gathering has begun. 🔥🌲
